how do i connect my laptop via wireless to my linksys 4-Port Switch/VPN Endpoint router
l just purchased a laptop yesterday and it runs the vista operating system.
When l go to networks and go to find a network it does not come up with my
router on the list it just says no available networks. l have a computer
that is connected to the router wireless upstairs but my laptop cant find
the signal when im sitting right next to the router. l went to my routers
page and l can not figure out what setting l would have to change so my
laptop can connect can anyone help me out here im so lost!!!!

Most likely you need to go into the router setup and enable wireless
connections. Also you will need to setup security on that connection so that no one can get into your network. Start with the Linksys website. It looks like they have a lot of good info there. Good Luck!
